Trusted teacher: Song, well-being and interpretation The voice is an instrument specific to everyone, which is why each course is tailor-made according to your tastes and abilities. Vocal technique Developing your vocal technique allows comfort and ease in the chosen repertoire. It requires some discipline and some proprioception. Thanks to a variety of exercises, I can help you understand the mechanisms related to the voice and better appropriate your body to achieve a more precise technique. Singing is a sport, and the development of muscles is important, just as much as the relaxation and flexibility of certain parts of the body. Taking vocal technique lessons is therefore a demanding activity both in terms of bodily activity and investment in progress and at home. Interpretation The understanding and the appropriation of the written text as well as the musical one is the key to the interpretation of a work. Together we can explore the multiple musical worlds by discovering the stories told but also those of the authors and composers. Through exercises, I can help you soak up the different emotions that you want to convey. Through various exercises of diction, declamation and theater, I will help you to transmit them. Reconnect to yourself Because singing is intimately linked to our emotions, I offer you exercises to reconnect to your physical and emotional body, in order to get to know you better but also to improve your self-confidence, your proprioception and acceptance as well as the transmission of emotions. Singing can be a real personal development tool, and personal development tools can help you sing better. Because the body is our instrument, well-being has its place in a technical singing lesson. Singing can be a healing tool for some people, but for others, minor traumas, whatever they are, can hamper the emission of the song. It is therefore important to come together to sing better: a healthy singer in a healthy body and mind. Singing confronts us with ourselves, our feelings, our emotions and our abilities. We can gently explore this complete tool that is our body for a better well-being in life and in song. Want to take a class? In order to better understand your expectations and to establish a course that suits you best, the first session lasts 2 hours. A face-to-face and webcam course. For any questions or to start lessons, do not hesitate to contact me. Who am I I am a young creative artist in live performance and mixed media, trained in lyrical singing during my bachelor at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur and my master at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève in Neuchâtel. I have a great choir experience thanks to the Choraline (youth choir of the opera of La Monnaie), the Maitrise of Paris, and the choir voces desuper as well as the animation of masses, in particular in the cathedral of Brussels and wedding masses. My experience as an actress and at the opera allowed me a great ease on stage and an inspiration as an author and director. I am also a modern art therapist trained by ifortpsy and meformer.

Trusted teacher: Graduated from Faculty of Popular Music with a focus on Jazz Singing (Argentina). We will work on vocal technique in depth, covering different methods and adapting them to your personal needs. Each person is different and my job will be to discover what your obstacles are when singing, and how I can help you overcome them. My training is academic, so we will exercise the fundamental concepts of classical technique, but we will combine it with the elements of popular music. I specialize in Jazz music, so if you are interested in this style I have a lot of material to share with you and give you my tips on how to approach it. We will work on improvisation as part of this style and as a way to learn to release your voice, without fear of being out of tune or making mistakes. Singing is playing, and my ultimate goal is that you can enjoy while you are singing. Apart from Jazz, I work with many styles, you can bring me the song you want to perform, even your own music, if you have it. I have been giving private classes for seven years now and I have worked with all types of students, many of them came to my classes with fear and lack of confidence, but they all left happy, with good technique and performing the music they liked the most. Of course, singing is not the easiest thing in the world, like any other discipline it takes time and dedication. But I promise you that if you work with me weekly and do some daily exercises at home, the results will start to show very quickly. Please do not hesitate to contact me, I am at your disposal. All the best, Mariana.

To understand the various stages of learning, we can define 3 major steps that are 3 different but complementary aspects of vocal learning ... and as many small (!): 1 / PURE VOICE TECHNIQUE How to learn to tame your voice and the effects on the voice (annoyances, anxieties, stress, jitters, fear panic, anger, fear, lack of self-confidence etc ...), master nuances & power, manage the effects of stress & anxiety on the voice ... The part of pure vocal technique, consisting of various vocal excercises called vocalises and adapted to the level of the student but also to his vocal typology, essential to any future evolution and for any singer is the "vocal skeleton". 2 / APPLICATION OF THE VOICE TECHNIQUE IN THE DIRECTORY Here in this step, the direct application of the learning of the pure technique that we have done with vocalizations and other vocal exercises as specified above. We work for (the technical part and the learning of the pieces where we have to refix the points of reference clearly) to make a link between the two thus allowing a playful and concrete evolution in the song by the practice of the repertoire that we like ! 3 / INTERPRETATION & STYLISTIC & VOICE PLACEMENT OF THE DIRECTORY At this stage, the finishing is done, although the deep work is only beginning and it is here that several parameters are introduced to get there: The vocal technique, the musical setting up (by solfegic knowledge then placement with piano accompaniment etc ...), the postural management & gestures of the singer in order to stem the "parasites" and the precise research of style and how to stick to the best! An exciting part that crowns & rewards, even if it's still a disciplined and structured job, the efforts provided before ... Trusted teacher: No, we don't think that being able to sing is absolutely necessary for actors. Not every actor or actress has the ambition to appear in a musical and not every series or film features singing. Still, vocal coaching is a good idea... whether you want to learn to sing or not! With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress. More info Anyone who has ambitions as a singer or who wants to expand his or her skills to make it easier to land a role will soon end up taking singing lessons... but also those who have no intention of ever performing songs. can benefit greatly from vocal coaching. You often have to be on set for a long time and then it is important to use your voice properly, so that it does not get tired and you can speak as powerfully after hours of recording as before. Finally, it is very useful to be able to put different effects on your voice. Just think of the raspy character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the barking explanations of Samson, the full voice of Kabouter Plop or the grunted insults exchanged in The Chronicles of Sabrina. Judiciously used voice effects can not only add color to characters, they are sometimes essential or almost automatically arise from emotional moments. So being able to use them correctly and maintain control over them without damaging your vocal cords is essential. What you learn As is the case with almost all of our courses, we teach you techniques from different approaches. For our singing lessons, these are Speech Level Singing (SLS), Estill Voice Training (EVT) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT). Here are some things that will pass in review: • The similarities and differences between the three major singing techniques • Using support • The larynx, lips, and other organs that help control voice production • Add necessary twang • Add air or not • Different vocal modes (with CVT): neutral, curbing, overdrive and edge. • Variety of voice effects including: creaking, distortion, grunting, rattling, screaming, vibrato and ornamentation • For actors: relationship between voice color, effects and the playing of all kinds of characters • For actors: the relationship between stem kle Extras • Help with the CV • Assistance with admissions • Help in choosing the right equipment • Help with finding auditions • Syllabus with pdf of the book Complete Vocal Technique You can participate whenever you want!

This is the first lesson I had with Miss Betina, she seems very patient and encouraging to me, I believe she is a great teacher, she can directly point out my weakness while having vocal practise, and kindly mentioned that she will train and improve my vocal.
