As a swim instructor I have thoroughly enjoyed watching young swimmers become more confident in their ability and become well skilled individuals who are not only safe around the water but can utilise these skills to have fun! I enjoy coaching lessons where the kids are able to suggest new ideas and games so that engagement stays high throughout the lesson. Within a lesson I will focus on 2 strokes at a time making sure your child not only learns but understands the fundamental concepts of swimming. In my lessons I will focus on challenging your child and I will include creative analogies and techniques that will ultimately improve your child’s ability.

I am an international contemporary art curator with 15 years experience working with public and private collections. I am currently undertaking a PhD, developing alternative contemporary art narratives within heritage collections. This course is intended to students andadults who want to familiarise with curatorial practice prior to undertake a Master, to current students in curatorial pracitce for further advice and tutorials, as well as to emergent artists or students in contemporay art who ned further support in working with a space. My Latin class is fitting for learners at any level. Having studied Latin now for eleven years, not only in school but also at the Universities of Glasgow and Cambridge, I am extremely familiar with the language and its challenges. Using the Wheelock Latin textbook, adapted texts, and even "real" Latin literature where appropriate, I envisage Latin teaching and tutoring that focusses on the necessary aspects of grammar and rote language learning but supplements them with knowledge of Ancient Roman culture, history, and literature to make the language more alive and relevant. I am well-acquainted not only with the requirements of Latin learning at school, particularly for GCSEs, but also with the expectations of university Latin courses. A beginner will come to understand the fundamentals of the language, common vocabulary, and the "philosophy" that underlies grammatical forms and syntactical structures, an intermediate learner will come to grasp the more nuanced and trickier aspects of Latin grammar and reading, and an advanced learner will find confidence in reading Latin texts "in the wild" and the fluidity of translation and interpretation. I have a bachelor's degree in Genetic engineering and currently, an ongoing master's degree in Molecular microbiology, with the experience of one year of research lab work in a government project where I was guiding interns for this project as well as for their internships with my own research project. I've experience in teaching primary and secondary school children with maths and biology as well as language literature studies as well as I have got an interest in teaching History papers as well. I was working as an Associate analyst back in India where I experienced both biology and IT work and side by I was working on my own biotech/biology research work in which I've four worldwide publications in the biological department. Mathematics at high school and university level can be challenging initially. I have a degree in Spanish Philology and I also have a Master of Education. Now, I'm working in a high school near Glasgow as Spanish Language Assistant, so i'm getting very familiar with the secondary exams like Nat5, Highers or Advance Highers, and that could be very useful if you're searching a tutor especially for that. I have also been a Language and Literature private tutor in Spain. I'm used to adapt my teaching methodology to each different pupil and we can work specifically only in the fields that the student finds the most difficult.
