I’m an experienced guitarist and I can help those of all abilities and ages looking to learn the instrument or develops their skills. I’ve been playing for 16 years and I’m well versed in most genres and styles of music. Open to all stages of learning whether you want to focus on fundamentals and guitar theory or develop your own style and technique. I can support anyone looking to gain knowledge of harmony, chord melody, soloing, popular and unconventional song structure and style. Or if you want to learn other songs and build up your repertoire. My musical background is primarily as a jazz guitarist, specialising in improvisation and composition. This is something I can work on with students once core skills are acquired. I can also help get students get up to speed with their grade exams and offer musical theory support. Aside from my experience as a guitarist, I play in different bands as a Writer and composer. I have experience as a recording artist at Abbey Road studios and I can teach students about song writing and composition. I’m fluent on music softwares such as Logic Pro X and Ableton and offer Music Production and Recording technique classes at my own studio in Clapton East London. Hello! I am a warm, encouraging and adaptable musician and am about to graduate from the Royal Academy of Music. I am an experienced teacher and have a DBS certificate. This class is an opportunity to learn violin/ viola or receive tutoring in music theory (up to Grade 8) from an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about music education. I have a positive approach and take into account the individuals needs and personality. I believe in a whole person approach to musical education and ensuring the student is always comfortable and confident when playing and performing.

I have been playing the piano for 13 years. I have always loved learning the instrument and music in general. I teach beginner classes for any age, however, most of my experience is teaching children. I teach classical piano. I can teach for whatever ends are desired, be that going through the ABRSM grades or just playing for fun. Learning music can be quite frustrating particularly when few teachers intertwine musical theory with instrumental proficiency in a comprehensive manner. Normally the focus is on one or the other and I personally found this quite frustrating. I always felt the best way was to learn both alongside each other - that is to apply musical knowledge to the instrument and to have the knowledge to appreciate and understand the music that is being played. The best part is this can all be done at the keyboard, keeping playing the piano a fun activity and not a chore.

Born on 11th June 1984 in Northern Iran in a city called Bandar-e-Anzali and raised in an educated family , Faraz started his musical education at the age of 18 at a local music institution as he just attended translation studies B.A course in Rasht Azad University. To achieve more comprehensive skills in violin-viola performance and teaching he later in 2007 continued his learning procedure in Capital Tehran where he first met Dr Setare Beheshti faculty member of University of Tehran, School of Fine Arts. Being under her instructions he got introduced to Suzuki School of Violin and simultaneously started to teach violin to several kids in different cities of province Guilan through Suzuki Method. Since 2007 he has been teaching 40 to 70 students each week planning their music career in orchestras and string ensembles. He has also conducted several student violin recitals and introduced more than 10 students each year through those recitals. In 2009 he enrolled BA course in Iranian music performance at The University of Guilan , school of Architecture and Art and graduated in 2014 . His final thesis was in two part; one was an article about a comparison between the styles of violin playing in Iranian classical music , and the other was performing 4 of his composition and arrangements for a mixed fusion ensemble. At the autumn of 2014 he entered MA course in Ethnomusicology at University of Arts , School of Music, and has been graduated on 2017. In 2012 he and four of his graduated colleagues have founded Guilan Chamber Orchestra mostly from the teenage students which has performed 3 independent concerts in different genres . He arranged two folk and Iranian classical song for the Orchestra performed in 2014. He composed an Album called "The Impression on the Wall" in Iranian Orchestral style published in 2011 and have won the third prize in provincial productions' festival about a year later. In 2010 he composed his first film soundtrack for a fictional documentary movie called " He owns a Factory near the Town". He had been teaching in several private music academies meeting around 60 student a week developing his teaching career every day. He is now studying Master of Music Education at Royal College of Music in London.
