With nearly 10 years of experience as a professional drummer and music producer in London, I offer high quality lessons for drum kit and/or electronic music production, including sampling and beat making. Drum Lessons: the student will be guided through a program that will develop music theory , reading skills and technique in equal measure, including advice on how to practice effectively and apply the subjects learned to real life music making. Music Production Lessons: the student will learn how to use free, professional software, such as Apple's Garage Band for macOS or BandLab's Cakewalk for Windows users, to create his/her own tracks, by learning about music synthesis as well as contemporary production and mixing techniques.

In my classes we'll analyse different aspects of drumming: the base of rhythms, drums technique , coordination, musicality, theory, drums notation reading, the difference between music styles, how to play in a band, the role of a drummer in music, ear training.

For intermediate and advanced players I offer in-depth concepts and techniques and broad scope for stylistic development. The learning experience is catered to suit the student’s specific needs and I provide a comprehensive course of study covering: Foundational techniques, reading notation and understanding music theory, coordination, rudimental studies, stick technique, linear phrasing, moeller technique, improvisation, soloing, time keeping patterns and dynamic control. I offer guidance through the accredited Trinity (Classical and Rock & Pop) and Rock School graded syllabuses. I have prepped students for exams across the grades and I also work from a deep library of resources covering different repertoire, styles, concepts and techniques. I deliver Drum lessons, pupils will learn their favourite songs, grooves, fills and rudiments. I also teach from the rockschool and trinity rock and pop drum books, from grades 1 to 8. I adapt the lessons to whatever the students goals are, with over 5 years teaching experience in schools and privately I'll get the best out of each student.
