With my background in preparatory classes (Maths Sup/Spé at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand) and a diploma from the École Centrale Paris (ECP), I offer private lessons in maths and physics-chemistry for students from primary school to the baccalaureate. My goal is to help each student understand fundamental concepts, gain confidence, and progress at their own pace. I adapt to each student's specific needs: strengthening the basics, preparing for an exam, or simply helping with homework.

Tutoring for International Baccalaureate (IB) Maths AA HL/SL, Chemistry HL/SL, Physics HL/SL and for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) International Mathematics (0607), Additional Mathematics (0606), Physics (0625) Chemistry (0620). I aim to make sure students understand material intuitively first before delving into complicated questions and foster a friendly and patient learning environment. Instead of relying on memorising formulas, I teach students how to derive the formulas themselves, build upon their previous knowledge and use them to solve complex questions in a simple way, building their confidence in the process. To facilitate this, I use metaphors and every-day things to construct stories that help students remember concepts and relationships between them. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, preferences and learning style so I am able to accommodate specific requests. I can help students work on improving both overall understanding of the subject as well as detailed and thorough understanding of specific topics/sub-topics. As someone who sat these exams myself, I know what the most common mistakes in each topic are, the best exam techniques and have lots of tips, tricks and resources I can share! I offer flexible scheduling, with availability during the day, early mornings, and late evenings for lessons online or in-person lessons near South Kensington. Mathematics and physics are often problematic subjects because the teacher does not have time to sit down with a student to go over point by point the poorly understood parts of the course. With my engineering training and 5 years of experience as a private tutor, currently a student at Imperial College London, I believe I can help you fill in your gaps and regain confidence in your ability to solve mathematical and physical problems. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at University College London, where my research focuses on applying AI to enhance energy efficiency in the built environment. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. I also completed an MSc in Statistics and an MSc in Applied Biotechnology and Biosciences, both from Imperial College London, with Merit. My other academic achievements include A* A* A grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Biology A-Levels, along with 12 A* grades at GCSE in various subjects, including FSMQ Mathematics, and OCR Additional Mathematics.
