Laying and consolidating the foundations of mathematics and science in middle and high school is essential to developing your children's reasoning skills, ensuring them every chance of success in their future studies... and obviously guaranteeing them very good results at the baccalaureate or patent and throughout the year! I am a young engineer with a recent double degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and the Technical University of Denmark in general engineering and civil engineering, and I suggest you follow your children throughout the year to provide them with the basics , methods and in-depth studies that teachers do not always have the time to give to students. Having myself recently completed a scientific baccalaureate and a scientific preparatory class at the Lycée Saint Louis in Paris, I know the paths and states of mind (positive as well as negative!) of the students, and will help them progress effectively with kindness, good humor and patience. I have several years of experience in private lessons at all levels, including one in London, and have thus acquired teaching skills and knowledge of science programs from middle school to high school (including the new program). I prepare my lessons in advance, can provide schedules to students, and seek to create connections with them that allow us to move forward more quickly and with mutual trust. My goal is to provide good results, but above all to ensure a deep understanding of the concepts of the program, methods and scientific reasoning, as well as to teach students the rigor and logic essential to these subjects. These concepts are assets and tools that will be useful to your children throughout their studies and careers. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps.
