Maths tutoring for students aged 7 - 16 years old!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Maths is an important subject and we tend to use maths in our everyday life, but most importantly Maths is a vital subject in school, and we all want good grades, right? Well, you have found yourself a reliable Maths tutor who will ensure you get the grades you deserve and want. Throughout school, I have constantly been privileged to help out students at both GCSE, KS3 and primary school level to achieve their desired grades. Allowing students to maintain a confident approach when dealing with questions and scenarios is amazing. I have experience in helping students aged 7-16, where I’ve always ensured that students are left satisfied at the end of every session. I have volunteered throughout school to support students in maths during my free time to ensure that they were confident when it came to exams or mocks. The feeling of providing the children with trust and confidence in themselves is just so great. I`ve successfully tutored, where students walked into exams with full understanding, resulting in them receiving the grades that they wanted and deserved. This has inspired me to make this the case for many others. My main aim is to ensure that all students feel comfortable when dealing with problems and feeling confident when undertaking exams or walking into their next class. I want to make Maths easy to ensure that all students can grasp the different fundamentals and concepts in Maths so that they can reach their full potential. I have an enhanced DBS.

Professor of mathematics, physics and chemistry, biologyTranslate this text using Google Translate.

A good teacher is above all a good pedagogue. I teach maths, physics, chemistry and science. My students come from all walks of life, from disadvantaged backgrounds and from the best schools in France and the UK. My approach is pragmatic and based on a real close relationship, which is essential to train and motivate the student. My experience and my mastery of the subjects taught allow me to establish quantitative objectives to which I commit myself contractually. The priority is of course to ensure that the student achieves better results, but also to help him/her define his/her future project and to reinforce his/her confidence, which is essential to any success. In this perspective, I establish a relationship of complicity and exchange in order to transform him into an actor of his future and to prepare him for the challenges of the professional world. Methodology : After an initial diagnosis during the intake, I establish quantified objectives to which I commit. The courses are tailored to the expectations and needs of the student and parents. I try to make the lessons "lively", orderly and efficient. Between each lesson, exercises are given and then corrected in order to follow the evolution of progress. Finally, I will anticipate the lessons of the school program, so that when the teacher starts a new chapter in class, the student already has a first apprehension of the course before the other students, allowing him to have more understanding and ease. In the year 2021, 100% of my final year students passed their bac (A Levels), 60% of them with honours or very good. Many have gone on to enter top business and engineering schools. Courses are available for all levels from secondary school to high school. As far as my background is concerned, I first studied medicine and then went on to study engineering in the field of civil engineering. After graduating with a Master's degree, I went on to teach in a private secondary school in France, where I am perfectly familiar with the new secondary school programmes. I am contractually committed to results. To your future success.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS)Translate this text using Google Translate.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS)Translate this text using Google Translate.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS) I have great experience teaching and tutoring Maths and French in the UK and abroad. I am able to teach mathematics up to GCSE level. I have been teaching maths to GCSE standard for five years now. I know exactly what is included in the new GCSE specifications. My role as an assistant Head of maths department has definitely given me the opportunity to write schemes of learning for year 11. As a result, I know how to break down topics in order to help your child to meet or exceed their targets. Some success stories Student A This is a young girl that had grade 2 before I started tutoring her. I helped her building her confidence, showed her exam tips, how to revise and more importantly how marks are allocated for every questions. She was really happy when she opened her GCSE letter and realised that she got 4. Student B This lovely year 11 boy was a grade 5 student in maths, after working really hard with him, doing exam papers every week, giving him challenged questions he did extremely well and achieved a grade 7 maths. His grade then allowed him to confirm his place in a Grammar school in Kent. I am also trained to teach/tutor mathematics using mathematics mastery. This is a program designed to help students conceptualise and understand the reason why we are studying mathematics. This program follows a CPA approach (Concrete Pictorial Abstract). For every topic that I teach/tutor, I always bring maths alive by taking real life examples. These help students understand the concept. For instance: Calculating with negative numbers is a topic that most student find difficult in maths. even those that get it might not be able to explain the reason why -4 + 8 = 4. when teaching this topic, I like using oyster cards, bank account or the weather as an example. `if I have -4 pound in my oyster card what does it mean? ` Now I top up 8 pounds what will my new balance be? This was just an example of how to link mathematics to real life situations. I can teach/tutor students with different abilities this include higher, middle and lower set. It is never too late to start, if you are looking for someone that can help your child achieve or exceed their target grade do not hesitate to get in contact with me. Thank you

Mathematics, Further Mathematics & Computer Science KS2, KS3, KS4Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I'm Eman and I just finished studying A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Computer Science and AEA Mathematics from City and Islington College and I will be studying MEng Mathematical Computation at UCL from September 2021. Ever since first being taught maths and sciences I have had a passion for them and love learning more and being able to understand interesting topics. I achieved 14 A* grades at SSC ( Bangladesh's Secondary Completion Qualification, Homologous to GCSE), 9 in GCSE Mathematics, 7 in GCSE English Language, and D*D* in BTEC L2 Computing (Equivalent with 4A* in GCSE) therefore know what is required of students to succeed and have plenty of important revision tips that I want to pass on. I also studied the new A-level curriculum so have up-to-date subject knowledge. Often the maths and computer science feature concepts that are daunting and challenging to understand at first, but through considered and targeted explanations, repetition of crucial ideas (particularly by linking ideas across subjects, one of my favorite revision techniques at GCSE), and consolidation of ideas using past exam questions it is possible to gain a deep understanding that will serve you well through final year exams and beyond. Learning is a unique process and everybody has different ways of learning best, therefore I will aim to adapt tutorials to meet the needs of a particular student. I will always ensure that prior to the tutorial I know what topics the student wishes to cover so that I can prepare materials (e.g. source appropriate past exam questions) and consult the relevant exam board specification so that we cover everything they need to know - there will be no nasty surprises in the exam. A typical tutorial would have the following structure: A starter activity to recap what we covered in the previous week, helping the student to revise as we go along. An explanation of the key ideas we are covering, and a check of how much the student already knows. Then comes real learning! The majority of the lesson will be devoted to covering the necessary content at a pace and level appropriate to the student. Usually, I will verbally explain the topic in an informal conversation with the student before writing notes onto the board for them to copy down (that way they have something to refer back to later). Past exam paper questions as practice. And lastly, if appropriate, how these ideas link to other things they may have covered or are yet to cover. But most importantly, I aim to create a relaxed and fun environment for learning where the student can feel confident in their own abilities and will enjoy the learning process!
