Acoustic Guitar (Beginer) Curriculum The course is by RGT (London College of Music),RSL (Rock School Awards),Trinity College London Preliminary to Grade 8 are the levels of complete one by one . At this stage you get to learn- Initial to Grade 3 Standard Musical Alphabets, Proper right and left hand technique, Fret board Knowledge. How to read Tab and Staff Notations, Sclaes: Major & Minor Scales up to 3 Accidentals (one and two octave) Chords: Nut position Chords on Major,Maj7 ,Minor ,m7,Dom 7, Sus2 Sus 4 etc . Melodies: As per grade standard ( Initial To Grade 3) and Popular Songs Finger style Studies Rhythm Playing Studies (Initial to grade 3) and also popular songs Accompaniment Studies with theory of harmonization. Basic Chord Progression (1,4,5) Improvisation on chord progression Basic, Licks making on scales. Techniques: Hammer on, Pull off, Slide, String Bending. At this stage you get to learn- Grade 4 and 5 Standard Scales: Major & Minor (Natural, Harmonic ,Melodic) Scales up to 5 Accidentals ,Pentatonic and Blues ( two octave and shift able) With theory . Chords: Bar Chords on Major, Maj6 Maj7 Maj9, Minor, m6, m7, Dom 7 Dom9, Sus2, Sus 4, etc in various position. (With Theory) Arpegios : one and two octave arpeggios on major and minor in nut position(C,G.Am,Em etc) Melodies: As per grade standard (4 To Grade 5) and Popular Songs Finger style Studies Rhythm Playing Studies (4 to grade 5) and also popular songs Harmonization: Accompaniment Studies with theory of harmonization. At this stage you get to learn- Grade 6 and 8 Standard Scales: Major & Minor (Natural, Harmonic ,Melodic) Scales up to 7 Accidentals , Pentatonic and Blues Scales extended, Modes on Major, Harmonic Minor, Melodic Minor ( two and three octave and shift able) With theory . Chords: Bar Chords on Major, Maj6 Maj7 Maj9, Minor, m6, m7, Dom 7 Dom9, Sus2, Sus 4, etc in various position. (With Theory) others added added and inverted chords.(At least in 4 different positions) With Theory. In guitar lessons, it is very important to me that you learn what you like. If you wish, we can also work on the technique. And the main goal - to have even more desire and will to play the guitar. :) Curriculum I have been a music teacher and guitarist on stage for several years. I successfully completed my master's degree in Zagreb. I also studied in Germany at the highest level of training for instrumental musicians - concert exams. I gained educational experience in schools in Germany and Croatia and at a university. I like to be active and pass on my knowledge to others. I am looking forward to your inquiry. :) Biography Divna is a Croatian classical guitarist special for her „innate musicality and sensibility“ (Klasika.hr). Divna has played many concerts at various halls: Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Croatian Music Institute, National Home Palace, Golden Hall of Croatian Institute of History, Matica hrvatska, Mimara Museum, Dverce Palace, Old City Hall Zagreb, Museum of Arts and Crafts, „Klovićevi dvori“ Gallery, Europe House Zagreb, Music Academy in Zagreb, Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, Cultural Center Novi Zagreb, Houses of Culture Novi Grad and Marija Bistrica, Prica Gallery in Samobor, Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, Croatian Homes in Vukovar and Slatina, Music Pavilion in Zagreb, City Gallery Zabok, Archbishop’s Court of the Zagreb Cathedral, Napredak Zagreb… She appeared as a soloist with the Croatian Chamber Orchestra under the direction of conductor Miran Vaupotić and with the Croatian Army Wind Orchestra under the guidance of Miroslav Vukovajac-Dugan. Divna played also with Rucner String Quartet and in duo with her brother Ivan. Beside of concerts throughout Croatia and abroad, she is regularly a guest on television and radio shows such as „Dobro jutro Hrvatska“, „Majstori svirači“, „Na pragu uspjeha“ and „Od portreta do portreta“. Divna is now studying with Ricardo Gallén at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar for the highest possible performance degree in Germany – the postgraduate concert diploma (Konzertexamen). She graduated with great honor from Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Darko Petrinjak. Divna attended numerous guitar workshops and studied with Xhevdet Sahatxhija, Lukasz Kuropaczewski, Zoran Dukić, Petrit Çeku, Paolo Pegoraro, Sanel Redžić, Margarita Escarpa, Thomas Offerman, Alejandro Córdova, Goran Krivokapić, Aniello Desiderio and Carlo Marchione. Except for many prizes in national and international competitions, she has received the Dean’s Award for outstanding achievements and was generously supported with scholarships for excellence during studies. Divna is also teaching at the Elly Bašić Music College.
