I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.

Sessions typically focus on finishing tracks, developing ideas, improving arrangement and mixdowns, sound design, and building a more confident and efficient creative workflow. We’ll work directly with your own music wherever possible, using it as the basis for focused, practical progress. We can also analyse and deconstruct released tracks that inspire you, breaking down structure, sound choices, and production techniques so you can apply them to your own work. Alongside this, I’m happy to share insight from my own projects and releases, offering perspective on creative decision-making, workflow, and long-term development as an artist. For those interested in sound design, sessions can cover synthesis, samplers, effects, routing, modular and practical ways to get the most out of the tools you already use, whether software or hardware. I also offer guidance on the wider industry side of music, including preparing music for release, getting signed, developing an artistic identity, self-releasing, content creation, and composing for film and TV. These sessions are best suited to committed beginners through to intermediate producers who want clear feedback, direction, and momentum in their work.

I teach Bass , Doublebass , Music theory , music production from beginner to top level and Guitar up to an advanced level. My goal is to give you a great knowledge of the instrument in order to express yourself freely with enjoyment at the same time. I am an award-winning violinist based in SE London, currently completing my Bachelor degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. My name is May and I'm a singer/songwriter/producer. I have 18 years of vocal technique experience working with some International vocal coaches such as Nick Cooper (Beyonce, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj). As a singer, I've been releasing music for the past 9 years, I started my career in musicals but soon realized that my true interest resided in a solo career as a Pop/Alternative artist. I've been teaching family and friends since my young age so went on to teaching anyone. I've worked with people who damaged my vocal cords as a child and so have learned the risks and am very careful and gentle in that matter especially with younger aspiring singers. I teach the importance of breathing correctly, using your voice in a healthy way, warming up the voice to avoid any damage and techniques on singing songs in a more interesting way. We sing a specific song thing by the student at the beginning and at the end to compare the progress made during the lesson. Learn to play the piano with a professionally trained musician with 10 years of instrumental teaching experience. I teach pupils of all levels and ages and have experience in teaching both adults and children. Every pupil is different and learn in different ways and I believe that it is important to identify what each student responds to in order to get the best results. A solid technique is crucial but instead of repeating various technical exercises which can be a bit tedious, I try to identify these techniques within pieces of music, helping them understand how good technique affects and supports their everyday learning, practicing and performing.

I have an LRAM in teaching and have studied the Kodaly method for many years throughout my undergraduate degree. I am a teacher at the Stewart Bilingual School, as well as cover teaching in various schools for Camden Music Service. I have coached chamber music and taught violin for Royal Conservatoire Summer Schools Courses. Lesson 1 This will be an introduction to the piano. I will encourage the students to play some notes on the piano, and I will talk about the importance of time, and also the stave where different notes sit on the ledger lines. This will involve playing a couple of notes, to begin with. Due to the nature of online lessons, this will mean that there is more of an element of listening required by the students and also by myself.
