I Began studying music in Italy at the age of eight. I’ve started first with classical music achieving a Piano Bachelor with the highest marks of the session. During my studies besides Classical Music I've been focusing my interest and enthusiasm on jazz music. Until today I've worked as Classical and jazz Pianist, composer and session musician in Europe, USA and UK. I’ve always been teaching privately classical and jazz music, Theory, Harmony, composition and improvisation. I’ve started teaching to my students my own idea of music and my personal approach with the instrument, trying always to encourage and stimulate their own musical unicity as I have done and I still do with myself.

I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios). I would love to help you reach your specific goals in Audio production and pass on my knowledge. Students can bring their works in Progress for feedback and to be worked on, or they can ask in advance to learn more about a specific area of audio production (For example, recording techniques for drums or piano, mixing techniques for live recordings or for electronic music). I have many years of experience in writing songs electronically, and for live instruments, for artists in the UK and the USA. Composing for opera reaches far beyond music composition and when it's done well it is part of an expansive and complex matrix of disciplines, practices, and approaches. In this class we will consider dramaturgy, structure, multimedia collaborative process, composing for voice (from bel canto to neutral conversation), consider dramatic practices, opera specific methodologies and theatre practice. Whatever your style the principles, analysis, advice and guidance I can offer will take your opera to the next level. As the artistic director of Waste Paper Opera, I have composed, collaboratively written, and co-directed 8 large scale operas, worked on projects for film, art installation, and even performed in a swimming pool. I have experience as a director, having trained with the late Sir Graham Vick at Birmingham Opera Company and National Opera Studio. I've performed across Europe and the USA as a singer, clown, actor, and musician, most notably with Brookly-based performance group Object Collection.

I teach guitar, improvising, songwriting and music theory for any level, from complete beginner, to advanced. I have spent the my last 4 years at the Royal Academy of Music, studying Jazz Guitar and Composition with some of the best teachers in the world and I am now keen to share this knowledge and get more people inspired and involved in the world of music. Although I studied Jazz, I started off playing Rock and Pop guitar, so I am able to teach those genres as well. I like to tailor the lessons to my student's individual tastes and needs so that they can benefit the most from it and also get the most inspiration.
