Trusted teacher: - Preparation for auditions for Bachelor level study, Master level study and orchestra audition. - Preparation for graduation exam (Bachelor/Master) - Preparation for national/international competitions - all categories - Working with very talented younger violinists - Working on interpretation of standard violin concert repertoire (concerts with orchestra, virtuoso peaces, sonatas, interpretation and playing of contemporary compositions as well as trio-quartet chamber music literature) - Consultations for young violin-viola teachers Hi everyone, my name is Volodja and I teach violin as "Full Professor" at Music Academy of Ljubljana University: Third-level teaching to Bachelor and Master students. Teaching is my great passion over 40 years and represents an important complement to my artistic activities as an internationally touring violin soloist and chamber musician, for which I have received several international music awards. I am excited to pass on my wealth of teaching and "on the stage" experience and sharing the "violin playing knowledge", that I got it in the past during my regular violin studies with such wonderful teachers and artists as Igor Ozim and members of Amadeus quartet in Cologne, Galina Barinova and Grigori Zhislin in Moscow, Josef Suk and Klaus Maetzl in Vienna, Josip Klima in Zagreb and Franco Gulli (Masterclasses). I am particularly proud of my current and former students who have won several national and international prizes. Many of them already have important positions in various orchestras, chamber music groups as well as professional teaching positions in Europe and USA. I also regularly give violin and chamber music master classes worldwide (Trinity Laban Conservatory in London, Music University in Vienna, Interlocken Art Academy in Michigan, Music Academy in Zagreb, ESTA (European string teachers association) conference 2020 in Porto to name a few). My first responsibility as a teacher is "to take care" of my students and guide them step by step, always having clear short- and long-term goals for them. I have an individual approach towards each of my students. I always try to show my students how to achieve maximum results through appropriate way of practicing and time-management. I teach my students to be independent, organized and responsible. The most important teaching elements, I take care on all levels of teaching process: - To keep in mind that everybody is different and to treat everyone as an individual! - To teach singing on violin, even if playing exercises and scales. - To support individual creativity on all levels - To teach how to practice and how to organize practicing time - time management - Taking care to listen to yourself "objective" and how important it is for all aspects of playing: technique (sound control, intonation, rhythm etc) and musical phrasing with final goal - "interpretation". - To choose the right selection of violin pieces (concerts, sonatas, short pieces etc.) and right exercises according to student/pupil's level - Building a solid violin basic technique and to take care for it on all levels - work on intonation problems and tonal restrictions, bowing solutions etc. - Regular intensive work on scales, "etudes" and other exercises for left and right hand - To take care of synchronization and "timing" of left-right hand. - Dealing with nervousness and finding solutions how to prevent being "too nervous" on the stage I love to give violin lessons for pupils of "Second teaching level" mostly of age 14-19 and "First teaching level - beginners and 1-6 years of playing, but preferable with the agreement of pupil's regular violin teacher or in special cases after previous appointment.

Trusted teacher: With over 8 years of experience as a Solfege, Oriental Solfege, Oud, and Oriental singing teacher, I am a Lebanese musician currently residing in Mönchengladbach, Germany. I honed my skills for 8 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory. Prior to my relocation, I taught at Casa Beethoven Academy in Lebanon and also held private music lessons. As a concertmaster, I performed with the oriental orchestra "Loubnan Assalam" for over 5 years. My move to Germany was motivated by my pursuit of graduate studies at the University of Kamp-Lintfort. Fluent in English, Couramment en français, ولغتي الأم هي اللغة العربية. Aber leider spreche Ich ein bisschen Deutsch. Solfege, the foundation of music theory, is an essential tool for any musician who wishes to understand and create music. It provides a way to identify and communicate notes, intervals, and rhythms, and it is the key to developing musical literacy. In this class, you will delve into the world of scales, exploring the unique characteristics of Western and Oriental scales. We will study the following scales: Rast, Bayet, Siga, Kord, Hijaz, Ajam, Nahawand- Major & Minor Scales. In addition to these Western and Oriental scales, we will also introduce you to the quarter note, which is not traditionally found in Western music. It is a quarter note with a unique and distinct sound. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, this class will provide you with the knowledge you need to use scales effectively for improvisation, singing, and playing any instrument. With this knowledge, you will be able to: * Read and write music (dictation) in solfège notation for both Western and Oriental scales. * Identify and communicate notes accurately in the context of various musical traditions. * Develop a deeper understanding of music theory and rhythmic concepts. * Infuse your musical performances with a broader range of expressive possibilities. We will use the book "المقامات الشرقية by Georges Farah" as the main reference for our study of Oriental solfège. This book is considered the best book in the Middle East to teach Oriental Solfège. Discover the power of solfège to enhance your musical skills and open up a world of new possibilities!

Singing & Recording Lessons with a Professional Singer. (Brussels)
Juliett
rating star
rating green star
I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.

Violin Lessons with Full Professor at Music University of Ljubljana: 40 years of teaching & performing experience internationally
Volodja

I've been working with Professor Volodja for some time and I have to admit that I've never felt better while playing and that I have never made much progress in such a short time. The energy that the professor brings to the teaching and his spirit make violin lessons incredibly fun and encourage even more effort and even more persistence . To all those who are interested in studying with Professor Volođa, I warmly recommend that they do so, because this is a man who demonstrates in the right way what zeal and love for music a musician should have.

Voice Class, Improve and Strengthen Vocal Abilities
Emvee
rating star
rating green star
Emvee is a very good music teacher, my daughter had already several lessons with her and we are very happy with the progress. Can highly recommend to anyone. Also we like when Emvee sings herself, she has got beautiful and majestic voice herself! She is very good with Disney songs, when she sings we feel that one of the characters like Jasmine or Cinderella is just in front us! But you need to understand that she can do only her best and the rest of hard work you need to do yourself.
