Don't worry if you're an absolute beginner as I am happy to teach piano or keyboard to anyone at whatever level they are at. I'm happy to take students in whatever direction they want, whether thats playing as a hobby or pursuing graded exams. I have a strong passion for playing the piano and have been playing since I was 5 and initially taught myself how to play. I generally structure my lessons in the format of long tones, scales, sight-reading, etude and pieces. Depending on the student's ability and goals when it comes to playing the oboe, I may vary my lesson structure slightly in order to suit each individual student's needs best. Long tones and scales are the two things I still do every single day to this day, even after many years of playing the oboe professionally. They are the fundamental building blocks of tone, support and breathing and therefore need to be practiced regularly. This is why I always start my lessons with these, regardless of the student's level of playing. Sight-reading is a very useful tool to acquire, especially if you would like to play in ensembles. And as for etudes and pieces, I believe that technique and musicality go hand in hand. You cannot have one without the other in order to play music to a high level. Therefore I encourage all my students to practice both.
