VIOLIN AND/OR MUSIC THEORY LESSONS When I begin teaching an individual, I make sure that I inspire them and teach them the value and beauty of music. I am very thorough about teaching technique properly so that it will last and be an asset in one's musical future, but I still like to keep my students on their toes and excited about actually making music and adding life to the notes they draw out of their instruments. Each individual is different and has different goals they wish to achieve with their playing, thus, for me it is very important to establish a connection with my students and cater each lesson to their specific needs and learning style. I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of music with musicians of all ages ever since I began teaching the violin in 2014. I teach both young and mature students, focusing my energy on private lessons. I have also had the opportunity to work with groups of young children at summer programs in collaboration with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony.

Logic Pro X is the most used DAW right now. It can be challenging for musicians or aspiring music producers to get the hang of it as usually the basics of audio mixing and production are not understood well, and so it gets in the way of songwriting ending up being frustrating! Whether you are using Logic Pro X, or any other DAW I can teach you the basics of recording vocals and other instruments, the essentials about understanding signal chains and how to use compressors equalisers as well as reverbs and delays, how to mix and master. I teach in my home studio in Battersea in Logic Pro X, but if you use any other DAW you are welcome to bring your own laptop so you can learn how to use your own equipment in the most efficient way! Lesson 1 This will be an introduction to the piano. I will encourage the students to play some notes on the piano, and I will talk about the importance of time, and also the stave where different notes sit on the ledger lines. This will involve playing a couple of notes, to begin with. I am a professional musician and educator, with international experience as a Violin/Viola/ Chamber Music/Theory teacher, soloist, orchestra leader, chamber musician, and jury member. I have graduated in Violin at the Conservatory of Music "G.P. da Palestrina" of Cagliari- Italy and in Viola at the Conservatory of Music "G. Verdi" of Milan-Italy. My professional activity led me to work in several orchestras as performer, and in various music schools as upper- string and chamber music teacher. I lived and worked in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and since 2012 I made London my home, where I developed further teaching experience within the British system. I have also founded "The Geminiani Project" of which I am the director and the leader of the Camerata Geminiani, ensemble that has been invited to perform in England, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden.
