If you want to know more about your voice, you are curious about your vocal abilities, or you want to know more about music in general, I will love to guide you on your path!

I customize the lesson to the student's possibilities and expectations. Correct vocal technic and freedom when singing is the most important things during my lessons. Every student has his own specific qualities and predispositions and I always try to develop them and make them shine. I work with Cheryl Portrer Vocal Method.

During the ear training and music notation classes I mostly use singing or piano playing to make lessons more practical. In my opinion, music should always be played and not spoken about. In the ear training classes I use relative solmnization, which is perfect for vocalists.

About Me

Hi,

I am Joanna, and I am a singer, choral conductor, and music theorist. Music is my life. I started my education at the age of 8. I played violin and piano. When I was a teenager, I fell in love with singing and I have educated myself in this specialty since then. I started my college education in 2009 at The Felix Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz (Poland). I obtained my Master's degree in choral conducting and music education in 2014. In 2020 I succesfully finished two years of studies towards a Master's in Music Theory. Since 2018 I have been an owner of the music education studio where I teach singing (modern and classical), piano, ear training, and music notation. I really enjoy singing jazz standards with all of the harmonic possibilities. I feel like music is an endless road to creation, education, and fun.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.

- Extend your range to at least 3 octaves (sometimes even 4!)
- Breath control and control of your entire range.

I am a pianist and lyrical soprano. I have a pedagogical Master Degree in Singing and now I am studying Master Performance at the ZHdK, Zürich.
I offer vocal technique and repertoire lessons for any style of music.
Regardless of the style, singing is about correct breathing, a relaxed body and lots of expression!

I specialized in contemporary music composition in Bucharest, Birmingham and Paris having finished with honors my Bachelor, my Master and my Doctorate degree in this field. I also have a pedagogical degree and 2 years of experience in which I taught music composition, musical forms, poliphony, orchestration, music theory and solfege at the National University of Music from Bucharest. In 2022 I finished a 2nd Master's Degree in Film Music Composition at the ZHdK.

This class is for both beginners who want to compose music as a hobby and to aspiring professional composers. The main topic of my doctoral thesis was the compositional idea and the processes involved in the creative undertakings. How does one reach the final stage of a composition from just a few ideas? How can we improve this endeavour? What strategies and techniques are needed in order to do that?

The class will be customized for each student so in order to achieve a certain objective in music composition the lessons can include elements of music theory, harmony, poliphony, orchestration, improvisation, music notation (Finale & Dorico) and music production (StudioOne).

Although solfege and improvisation are extremely useful (I dare say even indispensable) for a professional composer, they can also be means to an end for passionate music lovers. Solfege and strategies that come with it can help your singing and music sight reading. And improvisation is such a fun and relaxing activity that I think everybody should do it!

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

My name is Federica and I am a Pianist from Italy. I recently completed my Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana” with Prof. Alessandro D'Onofrio in Lugano. I completed my Bachelor degree at Conservatory “C. Pollini” in Padua achieving the honours with Prof. Massimo De Ascaniis and afterwards, in 2020, I obtained my soloist-concert Master in Piano with Prof. Riccardo Zadra at Conservatory “A.
