Course materials can be: -Standard Course HSK (for language ability test) -Experiencing Chinese (for immersive classes) -Learn Chinese with me (for schoolchildren and teenagers) -AP Chinese -....... -any tailor-made materials that interest you This course is designed in three versions for different kinds of participants: 1) A Beginner! - Have little or no prior knowledge of the Chinese language; - Want to learn how to make yourself understood in Chinese when traveling, for example, understanding and speaking common everyday words (and sentences) in different typical scenarios ; - Hope to express 1-10 and some larger numbers in China in speech or by gesture decently. *Some examples at this stage: - Hello! Or perhaps you have entrance exams coming up for art school or architecture studies and you want to ensure you will pass? This is an individual course design depending on your request and your starting level. Each course includes lessons filled with instruction information, practice time and homework assignment. You can begin with Level 1 and continue further or choose to start on a specific level. Level 1 - This course is an absolute beginner level. You can hold a pencil and a brush but the starting is so stressful and confusing. You're scared of making a mistake, you don't know where to begin, you're getting lost when it comes to composition or shading whenever you start to draw. I GOT YOU! Those are very common feelings when you start to draw and it can be discouraging, give you a feeling of being stuck or just very dissatisfied with your art. I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to Sacha! I am a Master student who needed academic support for a statistics course in February and although I have always lacked confidence in math, Sacha made me feel as if i had the foundation and ability to not only pass the course but also succeed in writing the results section of my Thesis paper. She was always very flexible in her availability, and was able to meet several times per week, which for me, was very beneficial. Other than that, Sacha was approachable, friendly and a great tutor. I appreciate all the support and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to grow as an academic :)

Yu feels like a very experienced girl, she gives you the right kind of attention. Her command and enthusiasm of the Chinese language is out of this world. Not only will she teach you Mandarin very professionally, but she will also explain and give historic reasons for some notions. To put a word or phrase into context is in my opinion a very effective and pleasurable way of learning a new language. Within an hour we made so much progress; something I honestly did not expect. I'm very happy I found her and I'm already hyped for the many lessons to come.
