For people wanting to use french in everyday situations, I propose the communicative approach, focus on communication rather than grammar structures. This approach takes the focus off the language by stressing the content. The idea is to communicate fluently. (If you were to learn how to repair a bicycle, for example, you would learn bike vocab then would then be able to communicate in French by using the relevant vocabulary and conveying their feelings, ideas and thoughts.) For students wanting to learn French in a more literate approach, I propose analytic lectures of French classics, or any desired text. Graduating with a First in English Literature in 2017 from Trinity College, Cambridge, I have tutored 250+ hours in the past two years, at all levels from 7+ to A-Level, and in exam boards from AQA to the UKISET for international students. I have taught both English and international students, and so am familiar with the varieties of difficulty that students can encounter and a variety of approaches for addressing them. I enjoy re-examining the elementals of the subject through tutoring.
