Music Production for Beginners ​ My personally designed Music Production course is aimed at complete beginners who have the desire to discover how to compose, record and produce their own music. The course is structured in a way that will enable you to make the style of music you love. It is ideal for aspiring composer’s, producer’s, musicians and sound engineer’s. For this course you will have the opportunity to learn either Logic Pro or Ableton Live (GarageBand is also an option to get you underway), both are industry leading digital audio workstations (DAW). Each session is tailored to your personal interests and goals, exploring both the theory and practical applications of working techniques and practices, in order to provide you with a solid foundation of the overall production process. Lessons are held one-to-one to allow you to learn at your own pace and receive the resources and support you require. I will continuously keep track of and review your progress so that your objectives are always being pursued. Here is the overall course content: Which music software is right for me? Songwriting is a fantastic skill whether you are a beginner or want to improve your songwriting capabilities. Not only will your musical abilities improve but so will you english language capabilities as we look to marry music and lyrics in the best possible way. Not only is it a great industry to get into, songwriting has enormous benefits to mental health as it provides a platform for creative expression which in my many years of experience has helped so many of my younger as well as older students. In my class, you will learn the foundations behind creating a great song including: Songwriting forms and structure in all genres, music theory and understanding chord progressions and modes, breaking music theory conventions in order to create a unique sound, great songwriting tools to help with 'writers block', performance coaching and how to convey your songs message on stage as well as all things music industry, including the importance of copyright and how to protect your songs. My students will be working with me on constructing songs as beginners and my more experienced songwriting students will work with professional music industry briefs that I will provide. Students will be able to write songs comfortably and autonomously after only a handful of lessons with me.

ABOUT ME: My name is Christian. I'm a professional musician, and have 10 years experience working as a music teacher. I teach Jazz, Classical, Rock and Pop, and Theory. I attended King's College London, where I studied music, majoring in composition, and achieved a 1st Class (Hons) Degree. I also worked as a peripatetic teacher in a secondary school (Bishop Thomas Grant School) for three years before deciding to make my teaching practice entirely private. However, it also challenging and demanding, and doing it effectively requires an understanding of several key components which I With many years of experience in writing music for various visual mediums, I can provide tuition to those starting out, or help enhance the skills of those who have been composing for a while but want to specialize in syncing their music to the moving image. Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio.
