Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. This gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This is designed for those who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough. It also keeps students on track during breaks from school, such as during March Break, or during the summer. The main aspects of this course will mainly be going over topics where there is a lack of understanding and going over them until they are fully understood. There is the oppurtunity to go through extra work related and if requested, above and beyond the students required level.

I am a passionate mathematician who would love to support you in your academic journey - I can cover all mathematical concepts from GCSE, IGCSE, AS-Level, A-Level, and IB past papers. As someone who has achieved a 9 in IGCSE mathematics, an A* in A-level Mathematics, and is studying an Engineering degree at UCL (Management Science with a minor in Modern Applications of Engineering Mathematics), I am passionate to help you achieve the highest grades. I will be able to assess your weaknesses, and we can turn them into strengths by learning new techniques and practicing past papers. If you have any questions you are struggling with, feel free to show them to me and we will go over them in the lesson.

Hello. I am a University of Oxford medicine graduate. I will mentor you to perform as well as possible across the board, with a focus on maths and science. Exam results are more important than ever. The truth is that most teachers will teach in a typical way which is not conducive to actually performing as well as possible in exams across the board. The methods are too time consuming, boring and inefficient. I will teach students to perform as well as possible in GCSE exams as quickly and efficiently as possible, regardless of your ability. I will distil the content down into the most concise, simple format and combine this with exam techniques and revision strategies which ACTUALLY WORK to help you achieve similar results in any subject. The skills I will teach come from my own experience of achieving 14A*s at GCSE and 5A*s at A-level, even in subjects I was not good at. The skills I teach can be applied to any subject and will help you to learn faster and more efficiently. Anyone can achieve this regardless of current academic performance. I will mentor you continuously and meet once weekly to discuss new strategies, address concerns and ensure you perform as well as possible with minimum stress.

Meditation is a wonderful tool to help set aside the pressures of our lives and find a place of peace and time to connect with ourselves in These classes will consist of a stilling exercise and an invitation to imagine a scene from a story (these will be taken from stories in the Bible) and then to reflect on your experience - you may, for example, journal or play with words, or use paint or create forms to express your experience. NO artistic skill is required - this is about expression and can be so liberating! After, there will be opportunity, if you wish to share, or not, as much of your experience as you feel happy to share. These classes can be one on one or as a group if you prefer. I am a trained prayer guide and have run art and meditation workshops. I am passionate about meditation in this way and have found it life transforming. I hope you will too.

After receiving a degree in Jazz and Contemporary music, I was privileged to enjoy a fruitful career not only as a music teacher but also as a full time composer and performer, both live and in the studio. Music which I composed, performed and recorded was screened in over 25 film festivals worldwide. One of my films, called “Crumble”, is starring Amanda Hale and was selected for BAFTA, won the Silver Remi Award at the 50th Worldfest Houston Film Festival (USA) and was the Official Selection of the 17th East End Film Festival (London). The learning plan is custom tailored for each and every student, while taking into account the student's current level and musical taste. We'll be working with official sheet music directly from the artist and original studio tracks from the songs you love.

My approach is to focus on developing the student’s mastery of the subject through problem based learning, including preparation for exams, while developing the student’s enjoyment of the subject and ability to learn by themselves. Over the years I have worked in different roles requiring a diverse range of skills including coaching/tutoring of high school students in year 9 to year 12 mathematics and coding for primary school children.

I specialize in tutoring kids at Primary School Level in Maths and English. I make learning fun whilst I am setting milestones so that both kids and parents can verify progress. I am structured in the sense that each class will be prepared prior to the start and will have an intro where objectives are set, we will then follow those objectives and there will then be a recap at the end of the lesson.
