I teach every little thing a guitarist should know, like the correct hand techniques, reading music, and music theory (in a very practical way). And can teach all styles, all guitars and all levels. But most of all, my biggest passion and mission in life is to help you to be more creative and expressive. And the guitar is the best way to achieve it, of course. I encourage all my students to write music, improvise, and find their own path, voice, and sound on the guitar. Creating music is not only really fun, but it’s also the most valuable way to learn guitar and understand music on a deeper level. My current guitar students range from complete beginners to advanced guitarists. They want to embrace the joy of music in their lives and unlock their creative potential by improvising, songwriting, and music composing. Some of them work towards their diplomas and concerts, and I’m happy to support them along the journey and get great results. I believe that there are many paths to learning guitar, and I accommodate and design a plan according to your individual goals and needs. In the literature, it’s called “student-led”, and I am firmly convinced that this is the most suitable way to learn.

I have instructed students of different age groups in saxophone performance and music theory (including counterpoint, harmony and composition) up until university level, in Spain and the UK. After graduating from Cambridge with a double starred first, taking into consideration my academic results and teaching experience, I have also been selected for inclusion in the Supervisor Registry to teach counterpoint and harmony papers. My approach to lessons is very flexible, and I always try to adapt to the needs and qualities of each student. I believe that communication is essential, and at the beginning of each lesson I ask my students if they found my recommendations from the previous lesson helpful and how they see their progress. After this spoken introduction, we proceed to work on some warm-up and technical exercises. Then, we play some studies and pieces, or go over some music theory exercises, trying to apply the advice from the previous lesson and make further improvements. Finally, we conclude the lesson with a summary, listing the main key points and suggestions and comparing our experience to the previous lessons, trying to find a clear sense of progression and a coherent line of work towards a certain goal. This teleological mindset occupies a central position in my methodology, and I always encourage my students to look ahead and plan a series of stimulating events or challenges to look foward to, such as a concert, a recital, a presentation or an exam.

This has made the demand for Producers way higher while the role has gotten even more interesting and challenging. In the lessons I will be teaching the students how to make music (preferably with the software Fl Studio), navigate the music industry, build clients and push the boundaries of modern day sounds. In my class you will not only be able to receive piano lessons but also will learn to understand how the music works as a language. If the interest and the profile of the student goes in the direction of the purely classical music performance, the lessons will be focused on a deep and conscious piano technique development, practicing techniques, musical interpretation, history of music, history of the piano, applied harmony on the keyboard, analysis, and score reading by a method that I have developed for over 15 years of experience. And if the students wish, I can help them to prepare for the ABRSM exams and competitions as well. All this is aiming to achieve in a very practical and exciting experience the best results in the fastest way possible. But if the profile and the interests of the students goes on another way, I will give them all the tools they need to understand the language of music in depth, so they can find their own voice on the instrument. In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
