Hi my name is Rich. I offer one 2 one acting sessions in Peckham Rye to help all levels and abilities improve confidence in their performance. I am a British actor and performer with over 20 years of experience working in TV, Film and Theatre. My TV credits include over 200 episodes of playing Dr Caleb Knight on BBC's hit series Casualty 2014-2020. 24 episodes of hit teen soap Hollyoaks playing Father Francis. For film i had lead roles in the box office smash British film STREETDANCE 3D and the Film Festival hit EVE. In 30min or 1 hour sessions we will work through the text(if there is a scene to prep or i can provide interesting material) and discuss ways of applying the best techniques to unlock your performances full potential. Whether it be for a big audition or just a bit of fun i will offer a calm and productive environment for you to find creativity and flourish. I have trained extensively in the Meisner technique as well as a more Method approach at Guildhall Music & Drama School. There really isn't a set technique i teach from, rather a balance of what works for the individual student as we are human and all work in completely different ways. I am here to help you use your instrument and unlock your true instincts to help you shine in your own extraordinary way. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can be of service to you and then let's go from there. I can also read in and film your self tape audition with you using my own tried and tested set up. Filming can either be done within the 30min/hour coaching session or as a separate filming session in its own right. You'll never feel rushed while striving to film your perfect take as i am well aware that stress can hamper any performance. The time is yours and if we go over slightly so be it. I can also offer online classes, please contact me for details.

Maths tutoring for students aged 7 - 16 years old!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Maths is an important subject and we tend to use maths in our everyday life, but most importantly Maths is a vital subject in school, and we all want good grades, right? Well, you have found yourself a reliable Maths tutor who will ensure you get the grades you deserve and want. Throughout school, I have constantly been privileged to help out students at both GCSE, KS3 and primary school level to achieve their desired grades. Allowing students to maintain a confident approach when dealing with questions and scenarios is amazing. I have experience in helping students aged 7-16, where I’ve always ensured that students are left satisfied at the end of every session. I have volunteered throughout school to support students in maths during my free time to ensure that they were confident when it came to exams or mocks. The feeling of providing the children with trust and confidence in themselves is just so great. I`ve successfully tutored, where students walked into exams with full understanding, resulting in them receiving the grades that they wanted and deserved. This has inspired me to make this the case for many others. My main aim is to ensure that all students feel comfortable when dealing with problems and feeling confident when undertaking exams or walking into their next class. I want to make Maths easy to ensure that all students can grasp the different fundamentals and concepts in Maths so that they can reach their full potential. I have an enhanced DBS.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS)Translate this text using Google Translate.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS)Translate this text using Google Translate.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFY MATHS TEACHER (HEAD OF MATHS) I have great experience teaching and tutoring Maths and French in the UK and abroad. I am able to teach mathematics up to GCSE level. I have been teaching maths to GCSE standard for five years now. I know exactly what is included in the new GCSE specifications. My role as an assistant Head of maths department has definitely given me the opportunity to write schemes of learning for year 11. As a result, I know how to break down topics in order to help your child to meet or exceed their targets. Some success stories Student A This is a young girl that had grade 2 before I started tutoring her. I helped her building her confidence, showed her exam tips, how to revise and more importantly how marks are allocated for every questions. She was really happy when she opened her GCSE letter and realised that she got 4. Student B This lovely year 11 boy was a grade 5 student in maths, after working really hard with him, doing exam papers every week, giving him challenged questions he did extremely well and achieved a grade 7 maths. His grade then allowed him to confirm his place in a Grammar school in Kent. I am also trained to teach/tutor mathematics using mathematics mastery. This is a program designed to help students conceptualise and understand the reason why we are studying mathematics. This program follows a CPA approach (Concrete Pictorial Abstract). For every topic that I teach/tutor, I always bring maths alive by taking real life examples. These help students understand the concept. For instance: Calculating with negative numbers is a topic that most student find difficult in maths. even those that get it might not be able to explain the reason why -4 + 8 = 4. when teaching this topic, I like using oyster cards, bank account or the weather as an example. `if I have -4 pound in my oyster card what does it mean? ` Now I top up 8 pounds what will my new balance be? This was just an example of how to link mathematics to real life situations. I can teach/tutor students with different abilities this include higher, middle and lower set. It is never too late to start, if you are looking for someone that can help your child achieve or exceed their target grade do not hesitate to get in contact with me. Thank you
