I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. I am English and speak fluent Dutch. Spanish has always been a language that I loved and wanted to learn. So, I took the plunge and started learning with Patricia. Patricia is such a dedicated highly professional teacher, full of enthusiasm. She inspires me by using all kinds of different lesson methods. Reading, watching films, various writing exercises that she creates herself, she also encourages students to attend monthly get togethers where we all speak Spanish together around a well adorned table of food and drink with a Spanish speaking country as the theme. Her patience with my slow talking and constant mistakes with word endings and verbs is just amazing!! I have been learning for more than half a year now and I hope many more years to come.Thank you Patricia! I highly recommend this teacher.

Very satisfied with one week sustained session on Japanese essentials with Chihi san. Contents are spot on, method is very adaptable. I felt both challenged, enabled and wishing for more. Just great: I recommend her completely: She tuned in very naturally to my constraints and my learning style, giving me content and foundation I can use immediately, and going the extra mile with research on many small questions I raised all along the way or in between. Planning was also very smooth: She was organised and at the same time very flexible to meet my needs on timing, location , contents etc. I won’t need to look elsewhere on my next learning sessions.

Best piano lesson I've ever had! Admittedly, this was also the first lesson I've ever had - however it was every bit as good as I had hoped it would be. Starting at the ripe old age of 35 I was slightly concerned that I might be too old to start, but Deniz made the whole experience very easy to enjoy, and she adapted the lesson around the very little bits I was able to do, while filling in lots of information that I didn't know. Looking forward to carrying on my training and would highly recommend to anyone that's thinking of taking the plunge.
