By the age of 12 years old, Rhiannon had participated in 5 performances in the Royal Albert Hall as well as a tour of Brittany (France). Since obtaining a BMus (Hons) Degree in 2012, Rhiannon has worked as a freelance violinist internationally with companies such as Burberry & Polydor Music, with orchestras by the likes of BBC concert Orchestra & Nu Civilisation Orchestra, at venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall & Ronnie Scotts, in studios including Elstree Studios & BBC Maida Vale Studios, and in festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, WOW Women of the World Festival & Crossing Borders Festival in the Netherlands. Rhiannon has experience playing a wide range of genres from working with award-winning artists including Jess Glynne (Pop), Anna-Jane Casey (Theatre), Anne-Sofie Von Otter (Opera), Isabella Melodies (Gospel) & Le Gateau Chocolat (Cabaret). She is the proud Youth Ambassador for the company Black Women In Arts, lead violinist of Tomorrow's Warrior's String Ting, lead violinist of the Nu Civilisation Orchestra, and leads the affiliate orchestra to Jazz Jamaica All-Stars. Rhiannon and is currently doing a Masters in Jazz Violin Performance at Guildhall School of Music. Rhiannon an experienced teacher currently teaching for Tri-Borough Music Hub. She spent 7 years teaching in two top preparatory schools in London, and also taught jazz and improvisation at the Southbank Centre for Tomorrow's Warriors to adults. She has given masterclasses at venues including the Southbank Centre and Rich Mix, and led multiple masterclasses as part of the Yehudi Menuhin Centenary Week in 2016. Rhiannon's teaching experience includes preparing children for exams and auditions - with some of her pupils having been awarded music scholarships to top independent schools in London, as well as places at Junior Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and The Centre for Young Musicians.

I specialise in teaching Physics at all levels up to and including A-Level. I also teach Maths up to this level as well. I also teach Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE level. My degree is in Engineering so at A-Level I specialise in the Engineering option - which I know is high in demand from students. I have three years experience in mainstream teaching and can cater for all ages and abilities of pupils. I plan my lessons around my students and ensure that they will get the most out of the lesson. I set homework each lesson to encourage autonomous learning from my students. I regularly mark and give structured feedback to students. I am 19 and have been lucky enough to have been afforded a private education and would love to share my passion for learning with more children. My goal is to ensure that each child feels that they have the tools to do their very best in exams. I have studied English Literature and Music, and have played the piano for 14 years. I previously taught pupils to prepare for the ABRSM piano examinations, and have a 100% pass rate. Playing the piano is an expressive and engaging skill to learn. More than anything, the pupil learning should enjoy them self, and find a sense of fulfilment from playing. For KS3 or 11 plus preparation, my lessons will be centred around key skills: imaginative writing, reading comprehension, building vocabulary and SPaG. I have experience teaching GCSE English Literature and Language with Edexcel, AQA, OCR exam boards. I specialise in Mathematics and English up to the ages, or ability level of 16 years old. Each session will involve guided examples on the chosen topic, followed by a few independent examples which we will then go through together. Following each session, I will assign a variety of questions surrounding this topic which will stretch the students but simultaneously boost their confidence in these topics. Every 5 sessions we will complete a 10 minute progress test to ensure that the sessions are helping the student. My goal is to ensure that my students feel comfortable in the subjects they are studying and hence can enjoy them more.

I have recently completed my first year at University studying Bsc Mathematics with Accounting and Finance, I am predicted a First. I am looking for students to tutor on a subject I am highly passionate about. I am a sociable character and I strongly believe in a dynamic and personalised approach. KS3 and GCSEs are hard! Students are studying for many different subjects with hardly enough time to spare to go over concepts they don't understand. As someone who has done both GCSE and A-Level Maths, I can attest to how tough it seems when you just can't figure out a topic, which is why I'm here to help! The most important thing within my lessons is to really focus in on what each student personal goals and aims are. For example, if a students end goal is to become better at Jazz guitar this will be our main focus in the lessons. I find that with this method it is far easier to keep the students engaged and passionate if they feel like they're working towards their own personal goals. This also allows me to educate them on all of the "boring stuff" without killing their passion for Music. In regards to my qualifications I have an undergraduate degree in Music from the Leeds Conservatoire, alongside Grade 8 qualifications on guitar and Grade 5 Music Theory qualifications. I play a variety of styles consisting of Pop, Rock, Funk, RnB and Jazz allowing me to tailor my lessons accordingly.
