Latin is the basis for most modern European languages and provides the key to widening your understanding of these languages. This beginners' Latin course will provide you with the tools you need to learn the basics of the language, and continue the study if you so wish. You will learn noun declensions, verb conjugations, pronouns, adjectives, and how to translate from English to Latin as well as Latin to English.

I have created a curriculum to develop reading skills for small children. It provides children with the knowledge of phonics sound, blending sounds and reading words phonetically. At the same time children will be taught words that cannot be read using the rules of phonics. For every stage parents will be provided with learning outcomes and the assessment of the child's achievement. I am a Mechanical Engineer and completed by degree with distinction. Maths was one of my favourite subjects in School & Engineering College. My daughter is in Year 2. During this COVID-19 lockdown, I started teaching my daughter as I realised she was not upto the mark in Maths skills. I was so busy in my normal job that it never struck me that my daughter needed help with her Maths. In last 2 months we both have worked very hard on her Maths. I can now confidently say that she has become very good in Maths and we both feel proud about it. I have now even started with Year 3 Maths with her so that when she starts her school in September, she is already familiar with it. She is becoming more and more confident and I feel good about it. This is the best job I have done in this lockdown period and I am so happy to see my kid happy and confident. I now want to share what I have learnt with my daughter with any other kids who might want some assistance to brush up their Maths skills. It is very important to have a strong Maths base as that helps with their confidence and to do better in senior classes. I plan to take only few kids to start with for online teaching. After 2 months of hard work with my daughter, I have my own tricks and games to help develop the skills needed for good Maths foundation for any kid out there who wants to be good and confident in Maths. Also as this is aimed for primary kids, the each online class will be for half an hour. What I have realised with my daughter is that she is best first half an hour and then she starts to loose focus and gets tired. So ideally what I am aiming for is a half hour class where we will cover one Math skill and questions on that skill. Also I will give them homework on that skill for which there would be a deadline to return so that I can see where they are progressing and where they need more support. With my daughter I also do 15 minutes of mental maths every day. This is very important for continuous progression and learning. I work one to one with primary, secondary and ESL students. Academic subjects I teach include : 11 + GCSE: English language , English Literature , Science ,Geography and Biology and English At A level .My lessons consist of monitoring, assessing, and re-mediating my student’s performance. I undergo a risk assessment process with my students and implement comprehensive lesson plans that address their strengths and weaknesses. I Identify and select appropriate resources to meet each student’s needs and use integrated worksheets to vary lessons and consolidate concepts. My students all have designated files which I keep in a specific file structure. I run a cv clinic for my mature students as well as assisting them with their job applications and offer interview support. I also provided lessons via Skype when on placement abroad.
