I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I teach primary school children from Year 2 upwards in Maths, English and in preparation for SATs in Year 6. My resources are all current and up to date and relevant in today’s National Curriculum specification. Yoga is a powerful instrument that can help us to understand and grow confidence in our bodies and mind. It is fundamental in mental and physical wellbeing, and even just one session a week can make a difference to your life. In this class, you will learn a range of asanas in depth, including their purpose and effects in your body. There will also be an abundance of yogic philosophy and techniques for meditation and pranayama (Breath-work). Each student will delve into their being and explore any blockages or stressed energy, and gradually smooth them out. Yoga is an ideal way to stay fit and healthy, and remove pressures from day to day life. For this Class, I want to create an intimate and comfortable atmosphere for the student; all ages and levels of experience welcome. There will be a sequence of asanas, short teachings of yoga philosophy, and open discussions between teacher and student. Aside from the class, I am always an open ear for anyone in need, and will provide the best support I can. The classes can be tailored to the student's needs and ability. I am an RCA MA Painting graduate, and I have a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art from Westminster University, and a Foundation diploma in Art & Design from the University for the Creative Arts. I am a practicing artist based in London, specializing in painting, and I have been showing my work nationally and internationally.
