Trusted teacher: It is true that the philosopher is the friend of wisdom, but above all, he is someone who does not want to make mistakes in reasoning. Philosophizing is a way of reasoning and a way of solving problems that will never have a perfect and definitive solution. Knowing the distance between the Earth and the Moon is not a problem of philosophy, because it is enough to measure to solve it. On the other hand, knowing, for example, what justice is, is a problem of philosophy. A meter will not be able to help us know the answer. We must go about it differently, and in the courses I offer, I will teach you how. You will learn - text reading strategies - case studies with the aim of learning from experts - methodology in philosophy - writing an essay - writing a text commentary - a work on the philosophers of your choice - an overview of the history of philosophy - the general culture necessary to be able to philosophize I will adapt to your individual needs. Each course is tailor-made. We will analyze where your difficulties lie and together develop a course program that will make you perform as quickly as possible. The basic principle of the courses I offer is dialectics, like Plato's dialogues: reflecting together, making theoretical contributions, asking questions and seeking answers, and testing the validity of reasoning. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching German using the philosophy methodology, having studied philosophy at the Master's level at Aix-Marseille University. It turns out that the analytical mind is very useful even outside the confines of philosophy. Today, there are even fields of activity such as management with philosophy or philotherapy. In recent years, some German students have asked me to also teach them philosophy courses, and that is why I decided to offer philosophy courses directly. I look forward to meeting you during a first lesson.

Fashion design can feel overwhelming when you are trying to build a portfolio, apply to university, improve your fashion projects or create your own collection. You may have strong ideas, but not know how to turn them into clear research, professional drawings, a commercial range or work that looks ready for the fashion industry. I am an industry fashion designer with experience across womenswear, youthwear, jersey, leisurewear, casualwear, partywear, graphics, product development and commercial collection building. I currently work in supplier-side fashion design, developing trend-led product for major high-street retail. I have also worked across girlswear, boyswear, menswear, luxury swimwear and private luxury collection development for high-profile clients. In these lessons, I can help you understand how fashion design works in the real industry. We can work on portfolio development, university portfolio preparation, trend research, customer research, mood boards, colour palettes, fabric direction, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CADs, technical fashion drawings, range building, tech packs and final presentation. I can also help you build your own commercial fashion design collection from concept to final outcome. This includes understanding your target customer, developing a strong design direction, creating a balanced range, refining silhouettes, choosing colours and fabrics, and presenting your work in a way that feels polished, current and professional. My main specialism is womenswear and youth-market fashion, especially trend-led product for teenage to young adult customers. I can also support projects across girlswear, boyswear, menswear and swimwear, helping you understand how design changes depending on age range, customer, fit, fabric, price point and brand direction. My teaching style is friendly, practical and honest. We will look at your current level, your goals and what your work needs in order to improve. The aim is to help you gain confidence, develop stronger ideas and create fashion work that feels ready for university, internships, placements, graduate roles or your own brand.

Trusted teacher: What I offer: A Level: Biology GCSE: Maths, English, Science KS3: Maths, English, Science 11+: Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning KS2: Maths, English, Science KS1: Maths, English, Science I am a qualified teacher (DBS checked) and have over 4000 hours of tutoring experience, with students ranging from 4-18 years old. On top of that, I also helped my brother gain entry into Cambridge University for Economics and have seen countless other students succeed under my mentorship. This is because I recognise that there is a process and that if students follow that process, they are guaranteed to succeed. I try my best to make learning enjoyable for students but I also have high expectations as I believe every student has it in them to achieve the top grades. I provide homework for each and every lesson. If students struggle with it, they come to me the following lesson and we go through the mistakes. I teach them the techniques to combat their weaknesses and this ensures they are ironed out, guaranteeing improvement. Students can also bring me work they are struggling with independently. All the students that have come to me have improved and rapidly. Testimonials: 'He helped my daughter get into Forest School. The homework and regular advice really made all the difference. We cannot thank him enough.' - Mr. Atwal 'Starting with him was the best decision I made for my son's education. He did so much better in his GCSEs than we expected. I got an A (very nearly an A*) and am now studying Dentistry at university.' - Raman

Intasar - London£39
Trusted teacher: I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? Kevin is a genius, who is capable of breaking down complex concepts into manageable, useful bits. If you think of a really large basket of vegetables and fruits. You know all the nutrients are good for you, but it would be tedious to try to eat it all raw. But then, you get a juicer or blender or 'Nutribullet', and juice all those vegetables and fruits into a refreshing smoothie. You can then drink that smoothie as quickly or slowly as you wish, and still get all the necessary nutrients... That's what Kevin can do - he juices all the complex intricacies of the German language into something you can understand and digest. His methods are unconventional, but very helpful in laying a proper foundation for a successful language learning journey. Very highly recommended.
