As an alumna of the European School of Brussels III and a recent First-Class Honours graduate from The Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) with a Master’s in Engineering and Architecture, I offer tutoring support to students of all levels. I’m especially familiar with the European School curriculum, GCSEs, and the International Baccalaureate, and I teach Maths and Physics at any level. During the session, we work through everything collaboratively, and I often assign additional exercises or homework to reinforce learning. I take notes live during the lesson on my iPad, and afterwards, I share a complete PDF with everything we covered. If there’s something we didn’t get to, I make sure to finish it and send it over as soon as possible. There’s truly no better feeling than seeing a student gain confidence and succeed in a subject they once found difficult.

Hey there! I’m Maaz, a passionate and dedicated maths tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students feel more confident with mathematics. Maths was always one of the subjects I enjoyed most because I liked the logic behind it — once you understand the steps, even difficult questions start to feel manageable. This approach takes the focus off the language by stressing the content. The idea is to communicate fluently. (If you were to learn how to repair a bicycle, for example, you would learn bike vocab then would then be able to communicate in French by using the relevant vocabulary and conveying their feelings, ideas and thoughts.)
