Has a huge performing and teaching experience. Teaching experience includes both individual classes as well as group teaching and orchestral and chamber coaching. Lessons available for any age and level, ranging from beginners up to advanced standard!

I am able to work with all ages and all levels of ability and experience. Whether you are starting from the beginning or you are a more experienced player looking to sharpen-up your playing, I am more than able to find a way to work with you based on what you wish to accomplish! I am also very happy to work with those who are preparing for exams and auditions to give an extra perspective and to give additional training and advice. Born in Edinburgh, I graduated from King's College London in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in musicology. I attained my Flute Diploma (ABRSM) with distinction, and am continuing my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2021. I am the winner of the British Flute Society's Young Artist Prize 2020 and the Guildhall Needlemakers' Prize for Woodwind 2020. In light of Covid-19 I am very happy to give online lessons. I am unable to teach from my home therefore I am more than happy to travel in order to teach.

The saxophone is a wonderful instrument and is fun, freeing and jazzy! I encourage freedom to try new sounds, techniques, genres and have a great time whilst doing so. I think it's so important to try and try and combat any fear that a tutee may have, of failing, of seeming silly, I am silly and that is great! Practicing doesn't always sound pretty and is vital to test the waters in order to improve, I want to make you feel comfortable and open to possibilities and then that's when good things happen.

Are you musical trained, confident enough with your instrument but finding frustrating coming up with your own compositions? Finding difficult to get idea for a new song, need suggestions for your lyrics, or just a simple understanding on a song structure? This class is based in songwriting and musical performance. I will provide any tips and suggestion to get a song done and don't get stuck between lyrics or chords. I'll be focussing in songwriting structure across different genre, pop, folk, blues, jazz. I will be also structuring the classes giving home exercise working on new sketches every week across those different genres, and diverse themes. Once the song will be completed I'll give any sort of advice on how to perform a song to an audience. How to structure a show and organise you band if you have one. During the lesson I'll be using piano as main instrument and singing. I am also confident in guitar if required. Songwriting and performance for me are quite related. At the same time I can also give advice and teach just one or the other if required. Please follow below more information about myself.

I have a real passion for music and that's why I would love to help inspire and guide new musicians on their quest to learn the violin. Age is irrelevant when it comes to my lessons but the most important thing is that the student comes with a real incentive to learn. Everyone's musical journey is different and many people decide to learn an instrument for a different reason. Therefore, the regular structure for a lesson would very much differ from person to person. For example, beginners would mostly focus on sight-reading, proper form and technique. However, someone with a slight musical background could begin by learning pieces that they want to play and I would guide them with how to encompass the piece better and make slight adjustments to their technique along the way. When it comes to young children, I've worked in nursery and primary schools with ages from 3-7. The most important thing is that they have fun during the lessons and gain a real respect for music early on. Technique, theory and sight-reading are still incredibly important but what's most important is that the child is having an enjoyable time while learning. I have a strong musical background as I've been playing violin and piano for 14 years, I also have a great understanding of music theory. I've performed in multiple concerts of sizes of up to 5000 attendees. I was also established enough to have achieved a full music scholarship to a performing arts secondary school and college. At GCSE I achieved an A* in music and I would be more than happy to help GCSE music students with their music theory and/or composition piece.

Saxophone Lessons are extremely fun! The Saxophone is a great and enjoyable instrument to play. It is powerful yet soothing; beautiful sounding and relaxing instrument to enjoy. I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, moved to London and now want to share my knowledge and passion about saxophone with others! (If you are a beginner) You will be introduced to the fundamentals of saxophone playing, note-reading and improvisation, and develop these skills as the course progresses. What will we cover? - Developing playing techniques: embouchure, breath control and tonguing - Learning to play a selection of notes on the saxophone - Studying relevant music theory and reading music for saxophone --Jazz Harmony - learning to listen and count time as you play - Developing practice methods: long notes, scales, studies - A range of repertoire in popular styles - Simple improvisation. What will I achieve? - Demonstrate the ability to play and read a range of pieces for the saxophone - Demonstrate an increase in confidence and ability to improvise short phrases - Understand musical concepts and ideas.

Learn Guitar while improving the powerful tool of songwriting, developing basic music production skills. You will learn how to play guitar the basics of music theory and how to apply it in songwriting. I will guide you to understand different music genres and how to capture their sound signature, helping you to develop your own sound and style. Together we will explore different types of music production techniques and how to implement them in your writing process. Gradually I will introduce different approaches to writing music and develop your musical and compositional skills to become a fully efficient songwriter and music producer.

In my classes we'll analyse different aspects of drumming: the base of rhythms, drums technique , coordination, musicality, theory, drums notation reading, the difference between music styles, how to play in a band, the role of a drummer in music, ear training.

Combining your newly-found Ableton knowledge with Max for Live will take your music to the next level, enabling you to build your own generative, off-grid sequencers and to unleash sonic mayhem with custom-built audio effects. No prior musical knowledge necessary. Lessons can incorporate songwriting/music theory as desired.

I am a qualified guitar, vocal and production tutor. I specialise in contemporary styles for all classes and have a modern and interactive approach to teaching music. I cater to each student individually and prefer practical rather than theory based learning.

Having spent many years as a Songwriter and Music Producer for many major record labels, I am excited to share my expertise and knowledge. I have a full background in all types of Music production from DAW based to working in large Analogue Studios to tape. In addition to this having a Masters Degree in Classical Composition from the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama means that I have a full and thorough grounding in all aspects of music. Over the last few years I have been tutoring masterclasses both Online and at various universities so I am very keen to share my knowledge with more people.

Born on 11th June 1984 in Northern Iran in a city called Bandar-e-Anzali and raised in an educated family , Faraz started his musical education at the age of 18 at a local music institution as he just attended translation studies B.A course in Rasht Azad University. To achieve more comprehensive skills in violin-viola performance and teaching he later in 2007 continued his learning procedure in Capital Tehran where he first met Dr Setare Beheshti faculty member of University of Tehran, School of Fine Arts. Being under her instructions he got introduced to Suzuki School of Violin and simultaneously started to teach violin to several kids in different cities of province Guilan through Suzuki Method. Since 2007 he has been teaching 40 to 70 students each week planning their music career in orchestras and string ensembles. He has also conducted several student violin recitals and introduced more than 10 students each year through those recitals. In 2009 he enrolled BA course in Iranian music performance at The University of Guilan , school of Architecture and Art and graduated in 2014 . His final thesis was in two part; one was an article about a comparison between the styles of violin playing in Iranian classical music , and the other was performing 4 of his composition and arrangements for a mixed fusion ensemble. At the autumn of 2014 he entered MA course in Ethnomusicology at University of Arts , School of Music, and has been graduated on 2017. In 2012 he and four of his graduated colleagues have founded Guilan Chamber Orchestra mostly from the teenage students which has performed 3 independent concerts in different genres . He arranged two folk and Iranian classical song for the Orchestra performed in 2014. He composed an Album called "The Impression on the Wall" in Iranian Orchestral style published in 2011 and have won the third prize in provincial productions' festival about a year later. In 2010 he composed his first film soundtrack for a fictional documentary movie called " He owns a Factory near the Town". He had been teaching in several private music academies meeting around 60 student a week developing his teaching career every day. He is now studying Master of Music Education at Royal College of Music in London.
