You also come to class with years of experience in Economic matters. If you are in the UK and are 14+ years old, you might have worked part-time before and therefore supplied your labour. Supply of labour is an important concept that you might have heard of or learnt about. Do not worry if it is new to you - you may study it if you take this class. But as you may have realized, it is something related to work, so if you have worked before, you know it already. Research Methods in psychology is a fundamental module that every undergraduate has to succeed in order to progress. It can be daunting at first but with enough practice and understanding of the theory, the module becomes easier. We will be practicing by using the two most widely used statistic software, namely, SPSS and JASP. In addition, we will learn how to find and read efficiently appropriate research articles for your research ideas, as well as learn how to write a lab report of our own. If you are an A-level student looking to pursuit a psychology degree, or a first or second year undergraduate psychology student, this course is for you!

I am a tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching at a variety of levels from primary school to GCSE level. I teach English Language, English Literature, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages), Maths, and Creative Writing. I have taught students both in person and remotely, planning lessons using virtual presentations, activities and resources both in the UK and abroad. I believe the most successful results come from fostering a friendship with my students, and providing constant encouragement and support in their areas of interest. I pride myself on being an attentive listener and carefully adapt to the specific needs of my students, which is particularly helpful for my SEN and ESOL pupils. I have previously volunteered as a mentor with charities such as Al Muntaha Tutoring and Debate Mate, providing mentorship, relevant advice, and support to young people. At the beginning of every lesson I also do short icebreaker activities and challenges with my students, using a points reward system to keep them engaged. Previous students have gone on to become the top of their class and receive recognition at school for both English and Maths. Lessons start at 1 hour in length, with longer lessons available if required. Lessons are structured according to the needs of the student; this can be working alongside their class syllabus to support them with progress at school, tackling an area or subject they are specifically struggling with, or helping them prepare for national exams such as GCSEs. I provide feedback after every lesson and detailed progress reports every six months for each student. I primarily offer online lessons as I have found this works well for me and my students, but in some cases I do teach face-to-face depending on location and availability within London. We will start by setting up a project, adding Software Instrument and Audio tracks, and exploring Apple Loops for quick access to pre-made sounds.
