About Me

I'm a PhD candidate in neuropsycholinguistics and consultant to private clients. My advisory clients include the House of Lords, the NHS, People Primetime International, the Manchester Metropolitan University, Falmouth University, the Emotional Intelligence Academy, the YMCA, the Y Club, the Castelfield Hotel, the National Citizenship Service, Equal Education, etc. My mentoring clients range pre-academic, academic, and professional contexts. My PhD research examines the composite language and communication phenomena of schizophrenia, as relative to figurative language processing, using experimental psycholinguistic methods; my master's dissertation focused on paralinguistics: blended displays (i.e. complex facial expressions) of emotion; and my bachelor's took the form of a stylistics combined honours (i.e. linguistics with creative writing). My vocational experience includes a substantive clinical education post within NHS psychiatric services—specifically, as an interpersonal communications tutor; in parallel, I've provided consultancy services since 2011.

EVERYDAY EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND EMPATHY, AT THE SERVICE OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
This training allows you to learn about the concepts of emotional intelligence & empathy with the aim of better recognizing and understanding your own emotions and those of others. Being aware of emotions allows better management of behavior in human relationships, both in the professional, private, entrepreneurial framework (...). For example, as a key to management, it makes it possible to: • Measure the impact of emotions in team management. • Analyze your own mode of operation to get the most out of it. • To be able to put in place strategies to regulate his own emotions and those of his collaborators. • Know how to approach delicate interviews taking into account the emotional factor. • To be able to understand, recognize and name his own emotions as well as those of his collaborators. • Discover the emotional process. • Manage the team (the impact of emotions on communication and decision making), the emotional quotient and leadership styles. • Motivate and mobilize its employees over the long term, and in particular in the context of interviews "to strong emotional potential "(reframing, motivation, problem solving, tense sessions, conflicts etc). Emotional intelligence is a process of personal development over time. This training allows you to initiate the process, with concrete tools that can be applied on a daily basis. This training combines group activities, individual reflections, videos and scenarios. From theory to practice with simulations. It is a question of putting in place rational and professional tools to achieve the objectives set together and overcome the blockages initially defined. Controlled, the techniques allow: • to rely on emotional intelligence and capitalize on the empathy communicated to better ensure that his message is better received his message or being. • improve credibility, self-confidence and ease (verbal-bodily) with public speaking and a more fluid sense of repartee. • defuse conflicts and enter your comfort / safety zone. In particular simple and logical techniques, which make it possible to resolve and manage violent situations in a harmonious, effective and lasting way, for example through NVC (Non Violent Communication). • better manage negotiation situations (contrary to the stereotypes conveyed, negotiation is not only financial, but it can be small everyday events). • Match the content and form of your message while improving the use of your emotional intelligence. What you will get out of it: • Better control of emotions and therefore of your way of communicating • Better understanding of the feelings of others and the ability to lead them successfully • Better relationships in personal and professional life thanks to superior emotional intelligence • Less stress thanks to a better understanding of one's emotions and those of others • Greater determination and results-oriented mindset • Ways to develop and apply emotional intelligence in the workplace Statistically, the progression following these private sessions is quickly noticeable, from 2 or 3 sessions *. Formation
Intensive private latin dance courses (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Chacha, Zouk antillais, Kuduru-african dance, Brazilian zouk)
Private lessons / intensive Latin dance training (Cuban salsa, porto / LA salsa, bachata, merengue, chacha, zouk antillais, African kuduru-dance, Brazilian zouk *) (* = it's THE dance of the moment that paradoxically has nothing zouk or anything Brazilian - today it's pop music for two, mixing creativity, sensuality, air fluidity that plays a lot with the movements of bust, head and body undulations.) METHODOLOGY Learn dance and let talk about your body / emotions, make the difference in the evening ("social dancing") or prepare an event (wedding for example): Focused on pedagogy, technique and pleasure, the dance space offers personalized and individualized courses of Salsa (porto on 1, Cuban), Bachata, Merengue, Kuduru-African dance, Zouk Antillais, Zouk Brazilian (pop music) (...) according to your desires. Objective: to adapt to your request and your desire. In the eyes of many neophytes, a couple who dance well performs spectacular figures. To dance is to tell / live together a story, to produce beauty in movement and to make the steps, the attitudes and the connections between the various actions aesthetic / harmonious. This fluidity is born of emotion, felt and transmitted. Simplicity, communication, listening, sharing, emotion, valorization of the other: it is, in addition to technical knowledge (body expression, rhythmic, visual), what you will improve during this training at evolutive levels. In a friendly atmosphere, you will be taken in hand whatever your initial level. Objective: a combination between on the one hand, intuition / feeling / improvisation and on the other hand, technique. It is possible to take the course in couple or solo. According to your desire, it is possible to propose 70% of a 1st dance, 30% of another complementary dance, the bases of the one influencing the other. Whether you are preparing a "choreography" for a special event (wedding, birthday, work, etc.), a show or simply looking to improve your skills to impress on the dance floor, the final learning of these courses consists in : * perform a beautiful interpretation of the music with appropriate movements, in addition to performing a dynamic work that involves a footwork and body movements adapted * execute an appropriate technique that will allow you to shine quickly on the dance floor, relying on the strong point of private lessons * Set up style, movement, footwork, and adjusted body coordination, allowing for rapid dance progression, while taking advanced base steps and a variety of movements, allowing you to not only acquire a sensual style but also to improve his own improvisational abilities, focusing on the characteristics of modern dance. * work on your balance, your musicality, your body strength (...), while having fun, while you train and radically improve the coordination of your body. In summary, these courses are at the beginner level (basic steps with some general variations), intermediate (faster speed and more concentration on technique, body mechanics, control, footwork, posture, balance and more complex movements) or advanced (for slightly more experienced dancers). Statistically, the progression following these private sessions is quickly noticeable, from 2 or 3 sessions *. (* study 2020) To respond to requests received, it is indeed possible to offer this course (birthday, party, christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. TEACHER / TRAINER In Europe, Latin America or North America, our teacher has specialized and worked for more than 17 years in the field of dance, in renowned international institutions, with for words the individualized pedagogy, and the careful methodology , all anchored in a pleasant and jovial moment. LOCATION, SCHEDULE - Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of live (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (example: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (example: notes that can be re-read on the chat). In this context, the videoconference sessions for which you asked me to seem to suit everyone perfectly, take place very optimally and generate a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option. Take good care of yourself and yours! PROGRAM A la carte program: evaluated and adapted to each need.

Confidence Building for All Age Groups (no one is too young)
Sometimes we doubt ourselves and what we are capable of. That's human. However, I want you to be able to see yourself for who you really are and what you bring to the table. Confidence building is important for all age groups. It can help a child of 10 years old be able to come out of their shell, see what they are capable of, and find their own voice. It can do the same for a teenager who has experienced trauma and now does not know where they fit, how they move forward or who they truly are anymore. It can help all people, in all walks of life. Through building one's confidence and finding their own voice and who they are, they get the beautiful chance to experience life to the fullest without letting fear and anxiety of what others will think hold them back.

MAKING ONESELF HEARD! (For Presentations & Public Speaking)
Explore Public Speaking through... Intonation and Melody When training for a presentation, decide which words and passages deserve extra attention and increase the tone to emphasize these points. If something sounds exaggerated or false, your audience can turn against you. Volume A speech is not ordinary conversation, and a presenter can’t convey passion and enthusiasm if the words are delivered softly. Clarity Don’t forget to articulate every word, to ensure clarity on your part and understanding on the part of the audience. Emphasis Even in the same sentence, emphasizing different words can change the focus of a message. Changing emphasis can alter meaning and/or implication. Pauses when pauses are placed in strategic spots in a speech, they can make the difference between a good and an excellent presentation. There are several purposes for which pauses can be used: to give listeners a chance to absorb something that’s just been said; to generate expectations about something that’s going to be said... Pacing & Tone If you often get negative feedback about the faster or slower delivery of your speeches, practice delivering a speech sometimes faster and sometimes slower, so you can arrive at a natural pace.
