My class is for anyone interested in music as a tool for life. The focus is to learn how to play an instrument and also cultivate mindfulness habits. I have taught with my own method for 20 years to hundreds of students from all walks of life. We start our session with a short mindfulness exercise and then you'll learn how to play your chosen instrument through your favourite songs. If you're interested we can also then start to learn how to write songs and even record them!

I believe lessons should be first and foremost enjoyable, but also serve as a means to break new ground and inspire as much practice as possible at home! So we'll start by establishing an objective of the student's choice that reflects their ambitions, and then work through the appropriate techniques, exercises, and repertoire that allows us to get there in as enjoyable a way as possible! Lessons will be supplemented with listening/aural exercises, music theory training, and performance/contextual discussions (if necessary!).

Singing is an important skill whether you are a beginner looking to build confidence or a seasoned performer looking to retain good technique. We will build on techniques from the 'life after estill' principles. This will be subtly incorporated into the lesson and you will find that breathing and projection will improve quite quickly. This class is suitable for anyone of any age.

I always make sure all pupils enjoy their lessons giving a friendly and fun approach to them. Regardless of age and skill level I want my students to be able to enjoy their time practicing and playing. I can prepare students for all grades of the ABRSM or other boards exams and I complement the lessons with music theory and aural skills training when needed. I can also offer music theory lessons that being to complement music education, prepare for the ABRSM music theory exams or just to expand the knowledge in that area. The approach for in-person and online tuition are quite similar. I effectively teach using both methods with great results in both. When online, I make sure they are of exceptional quality and the pupil gets the same results they would get in person. They are ideal if traveling is a limitation for the student or just want to take them from the comfort of their home using their own instrument. If preferred, I can also give the lesson in Spanish.

The main aim of these lessons is to help singers from a wide range of prior experience and ability to further their passion for singing. I am a recent MA Musical Theatre graduate from the Royal Academy of Music and have a wealth of performance experience in the genre. I am also classically trained and have achieved distinctions in classical voice grades as well as a BA (hons) Music degree from the University of Oxford where I achieved the cohort's highest grade for my performance recital in 2022. I have experience performing in operatic productions, another genre which keen students can gain tuition.

I am very open to any area of music subject, theory or technical abilities wishing to be covered or improved upon. Any level of ability can be suited for, from beginner riffs to the more intermediate/advanced level player wanting to tweak, polish and improve their playing or a particular area. Logic Pro X is a useful DAW softwares for not only musicians, but singers, voice actors and even for podcasting. Throughout the lessons, you will learn all the basic techniques on how to record, mix, use compression, quantise and understand the functions of mastering tracks. If you are a beginner and want to learn Logic Pro X, this is the place for you! Completely beginner friendly and easy to follow!
