Hi, I’m Sarah! I am both an Opera Singer and a classroom Music Teacher. My love for teaching and singing have always lived side by side. I constantly seek any opportunity to share my passion, whether that be in front of an audience or a classroom of students. I have always loved expressing myself through music, regardless of the genre. In fact, in a past life, I really wanted to be a country singer. My philosophy as a teacher is to have student specific teaching styles that are all about helping YOU achieve the goals that you want to achieve! Whether it be your high school/university recital, auditions, or preparing for a gig, our lessons will be tailor-made to you. My job is to give you the confidence to enjoy your voice. I am an Operatic Soprano yet I have sung across many genres for many years. Once you have a good technique you will be able to sing in whatever style you choose! My operatic technique allows me to sing over a full orchestra without a microphone, and without causing vocal damage. In our lessons, I will be able to share with you these tools to healthy singing that enhances your natural tone. You will learn microphone technique, as well as performance techniques that will help you to better convey a character to an audience. I studied music production at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) under the mentorship of King James Britt, and at Abbey Road in London. I am well versed in most audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro X), using all of these in a professional setting for over 5 years. Currently, I work as an audio engineer, mixing and mastering songs for clients as well as recording in major studios across the city, as well as working remotely for the studio that I started in Oxford (Lenka's Studios). I would love to help you reach your specific goals in Audio production and pass on my knowledge. Students can bring their works in Progress for feedback and to be worked on, or they can ask in advance to learn more about a specific area of audio production (For example, recording techniques for drums or piano, mixing techniques for live recordings or for electronic music). I have many years of experience in writing songs electronically, and for live instruments, for artists in the UK and the USA. If you want to learn more about songwriting, this is another area I would be happy to help with.

I have just completed my music degree where I specialised in contemporary classical singing and opera. I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. The techniques that you gain from classical training can be applied to all genres and give a strong foundation to be able to perform any music you may be interested in. I can also offer help with music theory and shape what I teach to meet your interests and goals. I aim to help you truly love music and gain confidence in your performance and musicianship skills in a safe and encouraging environment. No matter what level/ability you are we will improve your skills and confidence in singing and have lots of fun whilst doing so!

I am a music, singing and drama teacher, based in London, with a BMus (Hons) from the Royal Northern College of Music. I have 12 years of teaching experience in 1-1 and group settings for ages 4 to 18, with a number of my students gaining West End success. I have taught a range of exam syllabuses and genres, including ABRSM, Trinity Rock & Pop Vocals and Classical Singing, LAMDA Musical Theatre, LAMDA Acting and LAMDA Verse & Prose. I am a Vocal Health First Aider, which means I have an understanding of vocal health and the factors that can affect vocal wellbeing.

I teach music theory, academic music (GCSE and A Level) and singing to all standards and ages. I care a lot about making music education accessible to everyone, and always adjust my teaching style to meet the individual student's strengths and weaknesses. I have a Bachelors degree from Cambridge University in Music, and a Masters degree in Voice from the Royal College of Music. I have 8 years' experience teaching music.

I'm a professional composer and pianist, graduated from Music at Cambridge with a starred first, starting a Composition masters in London autumn 2022. At university I had works performed and workshopped by noteworthy musicians such as Judith Weir.

Whether you are starting from the beginning or you are a more experienced player looking to sharpen-up your playing, I am more than able to find a way to work with you based on what you wish to accomplish! I am also very happy to work with those who are preparing for exams and auditions to give an extra perspective and to give additional training and advice. Born in Edinburgh, I graduated from King's College London in 2019 with an undergraduate degree in musicology. I attained my Flute Diploma (ABRSM) with distinction, and am continuing my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2021. I am the winner of the British Flute Society's Young Artist Prize 2020 and the Guildhall Needlemakers' Prize for Woodwind 2020. In light of Covid-19 I am very happy to give online lessons. I am unable to teach from my home therefore I am more than happy to travel in order to teach.

Jazz piano is an excellent route for people who are looking for a less book-focused, more aural approach to learning an instrument. I can tutor beginners to the piano or classical-converts who are looking to experience jazz by condensing my education down into core principles. This method of learning helps you move away from the books and to start enjoying the piano with more confidence and skill. I teach with a strong emphasis on theory and aural listening and with my resources I can take you through basics to more advanced lessons. I'm also fully equipped to teach music theory classes and to tutor in GCSE and A-Level music (composition, particularly) as well as teaching early level classical piano (up to ABRSM Grade 6). Whether you're looking for chord skills on the piano or want to become an improviser, these are the lessons for you!

About the classes: Created for complete beginners and those with some experience of Piano and Singing technique, this classes serve as an ideal starting point to develop piano and singing technique, to work on improvisation skills and sight-reading, to learn in depth music theory and chords and also to explore various music genres, to build up personal portfolio, self-confidence and stage presence. Special programme for younger beginners “Music Wonderland” has been specifically designed for children as young as 3.5 up to 7 years old. In addition I offer classes on music yoga and therapy which bring harmony, balance and open creative powers of an artist. Classes take place individually and in a group.

This class is for anyone who's looking to pick up a new musical instrument! It'll be up to the student or parent how they would like classes conducted and whether they would prefer to have assignments. It would be delightful to meet people from all ages and all walks of life.

Born on 11th June 1984 in Northern Iran in a city called Bandar-e-Anzali and raised in an educated family , Faraz started his musical education at the age of 18 at a local music institution as he just attended translation studies B.A course in Rasht Azad University. To achieve more comprehensive skills in violin-viola performance and teaching he later in 2007 continued his learning procedure in Capital Tehran where he first met Dr Setare Beheshti faculty member of University of Tehran, School of Fine Arts. Being under her instructions he got introduced to Suzuki School of Violin and simultaneously started to teach violin to several kids in different cities of province Guilan through Suzuki Method. Since 2007 he has been teaching 40 to 70 students each week planning their music career in orchestras and string ensembles. He has also conducted several student violin recitals and introduced more than 10 students each year through those recitals. In 2009 he enrolled BA course in Iranian music performance at The University of Guilan , school of Architecture and Art and graduated in 2014 . His final thesis was in two part; one was an article about a comparison between the styles of violin playing in Iranian classical music , and the other was performing 4 of his composition and arrangements for a mixed fusion ensemble. At the autumn of 2014 he entered MA course in Ethnomusicology at University of Arts , School of Music, and has been graduated on 2017. In 2012 he and four of his graduated colleagues have founded Guilan Chamber Orchestra mostly from the teenage students which has performed 3 independent concerts in different genres . He arranged two folk and Iranian classical song for the Orchestra performed in 2014. He composed an Album called "The Impression on the Wall" in Iranian Orchestral style published in 2011 and have won the third prize in provincial productions' festival about a year later. In 2010 he composed his first film soundtrack for a fictional documentary movie called " He owns a Factory near the Town". He had been teaching in several private music academies meeting around 60 student a week developing his teaching career every day. He is now studying Master of Music Education at Royal College of Music in London.
